After a potential tornado overturns a yacht, British tech giant Mike Lynch is gone.

He is one of the six persons still missing from their chartered yacht that sank off the coast of Porticello, Sicily.
According to Italy’s civil protection and authorities, British tech tycoon Mike Lynch, his lawyer, and four other individuals are among those reported missing after their opulent superyacht sank during an unusual storm off the coast of Sicily early on Monday. Two survivors were Lynch’s wife and fourteen others.
Lynch, who was found not guilty in a significant U.S. fraud trial held in June, was one of the six persons still missing from their chartered sailboat that sank off Porticello when a waterspout—a tornado over the water—struck the area overnight, according to Salvo Cocina of Sicily’s civil defense service.
One body has been recovered, and police divers were trying to reach the hull of the ship, which was resting at a depth of 50 meters (163 feet) off Porticello, near Palermo, where it had been anchored.
