JJ Watt, an NFL legend scheduled to attend the 2024 Alabama Football Training Camp

Speaking at fall camp at the Alabama football complex was another star athlete. JJ Watt, a legendary defensive end from Wisconsin and the NFL, has joined Mark Ingram and Hunter Pinke as speakers with the Crimson Tide.
Watt played in the NFL for more than ten years, primarily with the Houston Texans. He was the 2017 Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year, a three-time Defensive Player of the Year, and five times named to the first team of the All-Pro team. With 114.5 sacks at the end of his NFL career, Watt
Ryan Anderson, a former linebacker for Alabama, also addressed the squad during practice. Before starting game week preparations for the season opener against Western Kentucky, the Crimson Tide will have one more week of fall camp after this Saturday’s last preseason scrimmage.
