London issues a flood notice after displaying regions on a map where roads and pathways could be flooded

Following a deluge of rain that soaked the city, a flood alert has been issued for portions of West London. Flooding is possible in the areas between Putney Bridge and Teddington today, Saturday, August 24, according to the Environment Agency.
Although residences are not currently in danger, this implies that low-lying roads and pavements along portions of the Thames could be flooded. At 6:45 p.m. this evening, a high tide of 4.7 meters above sea level is predicted. The Environment Agency has identified the following locations in particular where flooding is still a possibility today:
Putney Embankment Riverside and The Embankment at Twickenham Chiswick Mall and Strand on the Green Thames Bank at Mortlake Ranelagh Drive Friars Lane and Water Lane
