Before preparing for the regular season in just over two weeks, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers play host to the Miami Dolphins in their preseason finale tonight. There’s been plenty to improve upon over the first two preseason games. Although the starting lineup for tonight’s game has already been announced by head coach Todd Bowles, it is unclear who will play and for how long. When the starting lineup takes the field, he expressed the following goals: “It’s not a matter of having success, it’s a matter of playing in a game before we play a real game,” Bowles stated.

It appears that there is a focus on effective communication on the field. For certain newcomers, such as center Graham Barton, it is crucial to have a mutual understanding with the starting quarterback and other offensive line members. Linebacker Lavonte David added his perspective on the defensive end of the ball and stressed the need of game.
