How does Zabien Brown improve upon his early success for Alabama football?

In the season opener against Western Kentucky, Alabama football used a number of rookies, especially on defense.
But cornerback Zabien Brown was the lone rookie defender to start.
Although it wasn’t guaranteed for the fall game, such was the situation in the spring game. Not with additional opposition, like DaShawn Jones, a Wake Forest transfer. However, Brown topped the depth chart at one cornerback position when it was made public. He entered the game with the first defense, therefore that also held true for the game.
According to defensive coordinator Kane Wommack, “Zabien was probably the most consistent, from the start of spring ball all the way through fall camp, in terms of fixing issues as they came, consistent in his fundamentals, his approach, every single day.” He was one of the first eleven players to represent our defense, and I felt he was well-deserving of that opportunity. Extremely proud of the effort he has made.
Brown has also left an effect on Domani Jackson, the other starting cornerback. Brown is not new to Jackson, though. They are well-known from their days as Santa Ana, California’s Mater Dei High School athletes.
He’s already an expert, Jackson remarked. “He doesn’t act like a freshman, even though he is one.” He goes about his daily business like an expert. He just goes completely crazy. You’ve seen that he is an excellent player.
Brown also got off to a good start. According to Pro Football Focus’ charting, he didn’t allow a reception on each of the targets he faced. Brown played a variety of cornerback positions and was effective when he did.
But he’s not a finished product. With just one game under his belt, Brown’s collegiate experience will put him to the test more than it did at initially because of the increasing caliber of opposition.
Jackson stated that Brown and the other young defensive backs will need to be consistent.
Wommack stated, “Those younger players face a challenge in that they cannot remain the same.” “They need to keep improving their performance and level of concentration. In terms of establishing expectations and norms, it’s both a wonderful and difficult thing. The younger players will need to keep improving their game to compete at the level we’ll need them to as the season progresses because those standards will only rise.
