Before Week 3, Kalen DeBoer of Alabama provides a comprehensive report on Kadyn Proctor’s injuries.
This season, Alabama football has been without one of its best offensive linemen, but it appears that left tackle Kadyn Proctor may soon return to the field. Proctor has been working out, and head coach Kalen DeBoer stated on Wednesday that he is “in a good spot,” according to Charlie Potter of On3 Sports.
Regarding Kadyn Proctor, Kalen DeBoer said, “He’s been practicing and doing well.” doing out their duties well. looks good right now. performed admirably throughout the first two practice days here. Prior to Twitter, Potter blogged on X.
Proctor, a former five-star prospect, switched from his native Iowa to Alabama football on signing day. He was regarded as one of the best high school players in the nation in the class of 2023. As a true freshman, he started all 14 games as left tackle for the Crimson Tide last season, making an instant impression. Proctor was chosen for the All-SEC Freshman Team by the SEC coaches following the season. His return would undoubtedly strengthen Alabama’s offensive line.
On Wednesday, DeBoer provided one more injury update, and this one wasn’t very encouraging. Cole Adams, a wide receiver and punt returner, appears to be sidelined for some time, according to Potter.
Adams hasn’t been able to find his way into the starting wide receiver rotation, catching just one pass this season against South Florida. However, Alabama will miss him on special teams, as Adams had been working as the primary punt returner over the first two weeks. He has 42 yards on five punt returns so far this season.
