This offseason, Proctor almost joined the Big Ten and the Iowa Hawkeyes, but he returned to the Crimson Tide.

Against a formidable Wisconsin defense, the Crimson Tide are expected to score a lot of points and must emerge victorious. The good news for the Alabama Crimson Tide is that Kadyn Proctor will be playing again today.
Proctor had previously suffered a shoulder impingement, but the issue only kept him out of the first two games of the season. In his comeback, Proctor will start for the Wisconsin Badgers, slowing down any kind of rush that the Badgers were hoping to establish.
Just six days had passed after coach Kalen DeBoer was hired, and eight days had passed since coach Nick Saban declared his retirement when Proctor accessed the link. The lineman indicated he already knew where he wanted to go by transferring to the Iowa Hawkeyes and then reentering the portal with a “no contact” designation. Proctor later rejoined the Crimson Tide, but he was unable to play because of a shoulder injury he sustained during training camp.
