Nick Saban responds negatively to the Dolphins’ official decision about the former Alabama quarterback

On Tuesday, Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo shared shocking information that quickly spread throughout social media regarding an update on Tua Tagovailoa, the quarterback for the Miami Dolphins who was once at Alabama. Since suffering yet another concussion during their game against the Bills, Tua has been in the concussion protocol. Tua has now been placed on injured reserve by the Dolphins as he works through the concussion protocol. He will have plenty of time to speak with outside neurologists and develop a plan to stop more concussions.
Two days prior, reports surfaced indicating that Tua had no intention of retiring from the NFL and was seeking specialized assistance without a set timeline for his comeback. Now that he is on the IR, Tua will not be able to play for at least four weeks while he seeks medical advice to help establish a safer route for his future professional life. Nationwide experts, pundits, and supporters have been urging Tua to retire, arguing that life is about more than just football and that he should prioritize being well and spending time with his family.
