Many factors contributed to Georgia football’s decisive victory over Tennessee this past weekend. After this huge victory, there is a lot of appreciation to be given, whether it is for Carson Beck’s outstanding play or the defense’s ability to shut out the Vols in the second half.
Because they helped create one of the most exciting atmospheres Sanford Stadium has ever seen, the Georgia fan base is also deserving of some recognition.
During his postgame news conference, Kirby Smart acknowledged this and presented the flowers to the UGA supporters.
Smart said, “Yeah, I’ll start with obviously the fans like I do every single time,” according to 247sports.com news. “I believed the energy to be electrifying. It benefited us and motivated our children and athletes. I believed it had an impact on them. And once more, it’s extremely difficult for a squad that is traveling and playing in that type of nighttime setting. Playing in that is incredibly difficult, and I believed it affected them.
In addition to praising the supporters, Kirby Smart makes fun of them.
Georgia’s supporters tried everything they could to turn this game into a Blackout before it started.
