2025 NFL draft: Tennessee Titans to host explosive UCF running back for a top 30 visit - Yahoo Sports

The Tennessee Titans are doing their homework — and doing it fast. With the 2025 NFL Draft approaching, sources have confirmed that the Titans will host University of Central Florida’s star running back for one of their coveted Top-30 visits. The visit, set for early next week in Nashville, signals serious interest from the franchise in one of this year’s most explosive and talked-about prospects.

The UCF standout, widely considered a potential Day 2 pick with first-round upside, turned heads all season with his jaw-dropping speed, balance, and ability to change the course of a game with a single touch. Clocking a 4.29 in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine and breaking multiple AAC records during his junior season, the 5’11”, 203-pound back has drawn comparisons to Alvin Kamara — ironically, a former Titan draftee before being traded.

“This guy doesn’t just run the ball — he breaks games open,” said one AFC scout. “He has that burst, that electric change-of-direction, and he’s lethal in space. The Titans would be smart to bring someone like him in for a closer look.”

Tennessee’s interest comes at a pivotal time in the franchise’s evolution. After parting ways with Derrick Henry in the offseason, the Titans are clearly in the market for a new offensive weapon — one who fits their transition toward a faster, more versatile offensive scheme under new head coach Brian Callahan.

With second-year quarterback Will Levis expected to take full command of the offense in 2025, adding a backfield threat who can catch passes and create mismatches is at the top of the team’s priority list. The UCF running back fits that mold perfectly. Not only did he rush for over 1,400 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2024, but he also tallied 47 receptions for 610 yards and 6 receiving touchdowns — showcasing elite hands and route-running ability out of the backfield.

“He’s a Swiss Army knife,” said a UCF coach familiar with the Titans’ interest. “Line him up in the slot, run the screen game, send him outside — he’ll win wherever you put him.”

NFL teams are allowed to host up to 30 non-local draft prospects at their facilities prior to the draft, giving clubs the chance to evaluate players medically, mentally, and culturally. While a Top-30 visit doesn’t guarantee a selection, it’s a strong indicator that the Titans are considering using one of their premium picks on the Knights’ star.

The running back has already visited multiple teams, but Tennessee presents one of the most interesting fits. With a young offensive core, a retooled line, and a fresh coaching staff eager to reshape the franchise’s identity, this potential union could be a game-changer.

The 2025 NFL Draft will take place in Green Bay, and all eyes will be on how the Titans use their early-round selections. If this UCF weapon hears his name called by Tennessee, fans in Nissan Stadium may just get the next great highlight machine in the Music City.

One thing’s for sure — he’s on their radar now.
