Four lessons can be learned from Alabama Crimson Tide’s 42-10 victory over Wisconsin, including Jalen Milroe’s contribution.
The Wisconsin Badgers’ perfect record is no more as the team dropped to 2-1 after a massive 42-10 loss to the visiting Alabama Crimson Tide.
There is much to be respected for the offensive display Alabama put on behind star quarterback Jalen Milroe, but the extent of the deficit was primarily due to the injury sustained by starting quarterback Tyler Van Dyke and some self-inflicted problems by the Badgers.
Jalen Milroe is excellent.
Prior to the season, Jalen Milroe, the quarterback for Alabama, was one of the most highly regarded and divisive quarterback prospects. But after the Crimson Tide signal-caller’s electrifying performance on Saturday, nobody was questioning him.
Although Milroe’s passing game needed work last season, he appeared to be a genuine dual-threat quarterback on Saturday.
Apart from his three touchdowns and 196 yards throwing from 12 of his 17 pass attempts, he was crucial to the team’s running game. Milroe ran for a team-high 75 yards and two scores on just 14 touches, frustrating the Badgers’ attempts to contain him on the ground.
