Breer also mentioned how wonderfully the new Lions jerseys sold straight away.

Breer said that the new black jerseys were motivated by Dan Campbell. When he was appointed head coach of the Lions in 2021, he wanted the black alternative jerseys to be reinstated. After the NFC North title was won last year, Wood basically stated, “Win the division and we’ll talk.” The black jerseys are absolutely returning.

Players have been asking on social media how businesses might stock more of the new jerseys so that their friends and family can purchase them because they are selling so well.
