Coaches key latest Tennessee commitment from three-star CB

 

On the 2025 recruiting trail, the Tennessee Volunteers have achieved yet another significant victory.

Josh Heupel, the head coach, has already assembled something spectacular. The Vols’ 2025 class is ranked No. 12 in the country as of this writing.

Tre Poteat, a three-star cornerback out of Verona, Wisconsin, strengthened an already formidable group.

Notably, Poteat turned down offers to play for Iowa State, Michigan, or Wisconsin in favor of joining the Volunteers in the South.

Regarding his choice to commit to Tennessee, Poteat said On3, “I see that with the resources they have can make me the best player I can be and really reach my max potential.”
