Jonas Williams, a four-star quarterback, is nearing the finish of his recruitment cycle for the Class of 2026. The Illinois signal-caller has selected just four elite colleges, one of which is the Alabama Crimson Tide. LSU, Oregon, and Ohio State are the other universities. Hayes Fawcett of on3.com reports that Williams will make his announcement this coming Saturday, August 3, at 3 p.m.

According to Fawcett via X, formerly Twitter, “Four-Star QB Jonas Williams will announce his Commitment on August 3rd, he tells me for @on3recruits.”

Ohio State and Oregon, two Big Ten institutions, and Alabama and LSU, two SEC schools, round up Williams’ final four. Williams, who received a four-star rating for his outstanding accomplishments for his high school, Lincoln-Way East in Frankfort Heights, Illinois, is ranked as the seventh overall quarterback by On3.

The idea that the quarterback is the most crucial position on the field is among the most well-known football catchphrases. Your squad won’t be able to contend for titles if you don’t have a true starter who can inspire the others around him. Williams, though, is a quarterback around whom an offense can be constructed. The 27 offers he presently has, including his top four, are proof of that.
